Crossroads FileMigrator Agent (FMA) can help companies reduce their Windows file storage costs and exposures by actively monitoring Windows file systems for aging, unused documents and automatically migrating them to secondary storage devices while maintaining user control and visibility of files.
How does FMA work?
A non-intrusive addition to Microsoft file servers, FMA integrates into the file system using MS Management Console. As a plug-in to MS Explorer, migration, release and recall processes are transparent to users and applications. Users are provided with continuous access to files as if they still reside on the file servers. FMA is simple to install and figure, requiring no external database
