The Crossroads' ServerAttach SA20 quickly enables SCSI-based servers to access Fibre Channel (FC) storage. Until now, upgrading SCSI servers for FC connectivity required costly upgrades to the operating system (OS) and cumbersome changes to server applications. With the SA20, there is no need to upgrade servers, HBA hardware, driver software or make kernel modifications, so installation is fast and simple. A graphical user-friendly interface shortens the installation process to just several short steps. The SA20 connects up to two SCSI servers at once to FC tape and disk subsystems without impact to the servers. The SA20 achieves that rare balance of cost and capability while functioning to bridge the gap between the requirements of today and tomorrow.

Patented Router Management Interface (RMI) software embedded on the SA20 further improves access to storage resources by providing essential security and host access into SAN environments.
