Integrated Microsoft Console — FileStor-HSM simplifies file management through integration with Microsoft’s Management Console.

Migration and/or File Release — The Microsoft Explorer plug-in enables manual migration, release or recall of archived files, giving flexibility to access any file should the need arise. File transfers are transparent to end-users, meaning that data is physically migrated, but readily accessible at all times.

Disk Management — Based on disk system volume size, migrated files may remain on the server for rapid access until user-governed policies trigger their automatic release.
